Need Oil PickUp? |

THE REAL DEAL ON GREASE
What do you do after cooking with lots of oil, such as when deep frying? Pouring the oil down the drain or toilet will cause clogs down the line, literally, since oil thickens when it cools and does not mix with water. Pouring it in the garbage can make quite the mess, as well. Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) improperly disposed in the sanitary sewer system or storm drain system can cause property damage, health hazards and environmental problems. Pouring cooking oil and grease into kitchen sinks, floor drains or toilets can be costly to homeowners, the City, and the environment. Oil and grease rinsed down the plumbing system builds up and can eventually block the entire pipe causing sewer back ups and overflows (Sanitary Sewer Overflows).

The second way is by way of our GreenFuel Station where you can come and empty your container.
OUT WITH THE OLD IN WITH THE NEW URBAN RENEWAL 2.0
As was stated GreenFuel is a residential grease recycling program which supplements our initiative to locally source feedstock for bio fuel production. Our main source of oil for biofuel comes from our Urban Renewal 2.0 program. Urban Renewal has at times been associated with the destruction of communities. Our program, however, known as Urban Renewal 2.0, endeavors to change this. Our effort will be to renew urban areas by introducing a sustainable activity which reclaims uses for community assets and addresses the communal issues which are tied to its viability as a neighborhood . Urban Renewal 2.0 will also address some of the environmental issues caused by the impact of pollution and decisions to source of goods locally or not.
SustainabilityOnline base of operation for Urban Renewal 2.0 is Bridgeport, Connecticut. Bridgeport also known as the "Park City" has suffered like many other Northeastern manufacturing cities from a lack of development and urban decay.
